MAM Support Specialist
Northern Suburbs
Process: Technical Assessment, 2 Interviews and Psychometric Evaluation
R600 000 to R700 000 per annum, negotiable
Our client is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated candidate. This position reports to the Manager of the department and will be based at the Head Office in the Northern Suburbs.
This role focuses on:
Forming an integral part of a team that provides 24/7 technical support for the System and the operational staff and clients

Clients:
External individuals or groups as well as individuals or groups within the organisation
Various other internal and external suppliers and clients
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
• Linux support and maintenance with shell scripting
• Good understanding of SQL
• 4 years’ experience within a technical support Technical/Operational Administration
• Report writing
• Systems Analysis
• Project implementation
• IBM DB2 administration
• Tivoli Storage Manager administration
• Support of Enterprise hardware (Servers, SAN/DAS/NAS, Libraries)
• Support IBM 358X series LTOX Storage Systems
• Network configuration fault finding and support(TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, FTP, HTTP, LDAP, NFS, NTP, SMB, etc)
• Clustered Files System (GPFS/GFS/etc)
• Basic Perl programming
• Good understanding of the Ardendo MAM system
Qualifications & Experience
• Matric or NQF level 4 equivalent
• At least 5 years’ hands-on related experience in a technical environment
• BSC Computer Science or related degree or diploma is preferable
