AA21143 - A group of Hospitality/Tourism companies situated in Hartebeespoort seeks a Management Accountant with the following qualifications: B Com Degree is preferable.Duties will include the following: The position will be filled across a group of companies, and is based in Hartbeespoort. The position is available immediately. Key Outputs Required: Prepare management accounts on a monthly basis for a Group of Companies, and driving all underlying processes in order to achieve accurate results by set deadlines. Ensuring Balance Sheet Reconciliations are done timeously, completely and accurately. Working closely with the Group Finance Manager to establish internal control mechanisms in Finance (Including Cash, Stock, Asset Registers, Adherence to Legislation), General Administration (Including Insurance, Vehicles, Service Level Agreements, Preferred Supplier Lists) and other areas of the business. Working closely with the Group Finance Manager in conducting of audits, feedback to management, and assisting in corrective action as required - effectively ensuring best operating practices are in place, and adhered to throughout the business. Assistant to the Group Finance Manager in various matters arising.The candidate must have the following skills: Work Experience Required:At least five to ten years' experience within an accounting environment, audit experience will be advantageousKnowledge Required:1) Solid understanding of accounting and business practices2) Good understanding of legislation governing the operations of a business, as well as VAT, Company Tax and Employee Taxation3) Pastel Partner and VIP Payroll and Personnel Systems4) MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint at least on intermediate to advance levelsSkills Required:1) Excellent interpersonal skills.2) Ability to work with staff and management on all levels of the business.3) Ability to share information, to train and to influence others.4) Ability to be both assertive and flexible as and when required, depending on the negotiability of the issue at hand.4) Diligence and self-motivation to meet deadlines.5) Ability to work under pressure.6) Flexibility to work environment.
