exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified person in this new position within the Group’s Finance division. Although reporting directly to the Financial Director, the incumbent will work closely with the divisional heads across the Group.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Development and enhancement of the Group’s financial and business management functions/processes/skills, to bridge the gap between the businesses operations and financial requirements/functions.
2. Overall responsibility for the development of business plans and budgets at Group level.
3. Financial accounting responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage finance team,
• Preparation and review of group monthly management accounts,
• Ability to verbally communicate monthly results to management,
• Managing groups working capital,
• Implementing, designing and maintaining controls, over finance and operations systems,
• Drafting of year end annual financial statements for group (including consolidation) in terms of IFRS for SME’S,
• Oversee year end Audit.
4. Provide technical support for various finance and related functions, including:

• Financial statement presentation;
• Corporate taxation;
• Company secretarial.
Have at least qualified to write the PAA Board Exams and have completed a training contract with a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants where he/she has had exposure to a variety of business models and good, practical exposure to business generally.
