Job Description:

To take responsibility for the core management accounting functions within the Group accounting structure. Key areas of accountability include reporting, budgeting & forecasting.
Drive and coordinate the corporate budgeting activities including budget formulation, monitoring, timelines and assigning responsibility for deliverables
Responsible for the collation of information from various sources to prepare budgets for management and executive review
Review budgets and provide insights into adjustments or additional information required for completing budgeting process
Responsible for collaborating with the wider finance team to ensure that all cost centers are budgeted for and monitored
Responsible for all budget cycle deadlines in line with the three year shareholder plans
Prepare the monthly/quarterly/half yearly/yearly reporting information for distribution to the various internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for monthly/quarterly/half yearly/yearly presentations for management meetings and Board meetings relating to budget and actuals submissions
Prepare monthly analytical reviews with commentary explaining material movements in all reporting information
Prepare the monthly divisional reporting pack information for all divisions in the group and investigate all matters in collaboration with the relevant Business Partners
Responsible for the income statement analysis and coordinating with the relevant Finance Business Partners for feedback into the month end process
Responsible for the shared services methodology and ensuring appropriate treatment in the divisional accounts for the group
Accountable for the hierarchy and maintenance of the chart of the accounts for the group entities
Accountable for the creation and linking of all accounts for budget process for the business
Accountable for excel insights management
Deliver on ad hoc projects / requests from the Head of Corporate and Commercial Finance

Qualifications:

Relevant Finance Degree
Professionally Qualified - CIMA or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum 2 - 3 years relevant Finance and budgeting experience
Proven analytical skills - ability to handle large volumes of data
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Advantageous: Exposure to Dynamics and Excel Insights Reporting Tool
Advantageous: Retail and/ or financial services industry experience
