ROLE SUMMARY (PURPOSE)
The role will deliver a successful, methodological management accounting function to Welgemeend Colliery with specific focus on areas including,
but not limited to the preparation of the general ledger, cost management, reviewing of bank reconciliation, credit reconciliation and debtors’
reconciliations. Preparations of monthly management accounts, reporting on financial and operational results, mine costs forecasting, health and
safety and good housekeeping.

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
B.Comm Accounting or Cost Accounting or National Diploma in Cost Accounting
Sound interpersonal relations, proficiency in report compilation, financial modelling, business acumen, code
8 driver’s licence.
Coal mining cost accounting experience would be an advantage
Mining tax knowledge
SAP/VIP knowledge will be an advantage
At least 5yrs experience in a mining environment
