The consultant will share ownership and accountability for the successful execution of engagements together with the Engagement Manager, Associate Partner and client teams. This includes consistent oversight of performance of junior team members the responsibility for work stream and/or project delivery.

•3-4 years of experience as a management consultant, or minimum of 5-6 years of relevant industry experience
•Excellent academic credentials from top tier programs - B.SC Engineering required, PDM/MBA strongly preferred
•Extensive experience in industries across South Africa and the Southern African region is mandatory
•Strong verbal / written / presentation / facilitation / communication / relationship building / social networking skills
•Experience in working within large, multi-cultural, cross functional team
•Experience facilitating high level client meetings
•Ability to understand a client’s business organization, as well industry and segment trends
•Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
•Willingness to be onsite at a client location and able to travel extensively to support the needs of the project
•Depth to support practice methodology, growth and mentor the junior team members


Functional Skills

•Inbound Supply Chain Management (Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Sourcing, Tactical Sourcing, Procurement and Logistics) – strategic and operational experience is essential.
•Outbound Supply Chain Management operations
•Economic Development, supplier development and localisation
•Transformation and organisation effectiveness (Mind-sets, Behaviours and Management infrastructure)
•Transactional advisory – with emphasis on commercial, economic development and supply chain related advisory
•Systems and process advisory – strategic understanding of enterprise systems not technical.
