My client in the Financial industry is looking for an experienced Management Consultant to work on their 6 months cost savings project were the person will be required to deliver cost savings solutions manipulating financial data.

Job description:

As an experienced management consultant, the individual will be responsible for defining and delivering tangible value based solutions to complex client environments.
The individual will be required to work in a dynamic and high pressure client environment and deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years consulting experience
• Relevant tertiary degree (business related) B.Com/ C.A. related
• Data analytics experience
• Strong creative problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills (fluency in English is essential)
• Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
• Clearly articulate value and demonstrate how solutions map to a clients’ need
• Own car and a valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities
• Analyse, define and develop solutions challenging client environment
• Define and deliver projects with quantifiable value added
• Review of actual performance against targets with detailed variance analysis, communication of impact of variances and trends
• Support project team in identifying potential savings levers, cost optimisation strategies
• Perform analysis on large corporate budgets/ financial statements, setting financial targets and making recommendations
• Use of business frameworks and principles in structuring outputs
• Establish metrics and measurements to track, assess and report on saving opportunities
• Engage with key stakeholders
• Effectively manage work stream and deliver quantifiable impact
