MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Ensure collections are maximized and minimize bad debt and fraud by putting control measures in place. Evaluating subordinates constantly. Ensure that policies and Procedures are adhered to and management’s instructions and deadlines are followed.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

1. Collections & Strategic Management

Implement daily / monthly initiatives to achieve monthly collections targets.

Daily interventions with Supervisors to monitor team performance, productivity and challenges.

Minute to minute management of supervisor and controllers.

Weekly meetings with key stakeholders in the business to identify and implement best practices (customer service; finance; sales; human resources).

Identify and implement solutions to minimize, manage and track queries within the department.

2. Customer Service Management

Ensure that queries directed to you and your sub-ordinates are resolved within agreed SLA’s.

Assisting walk in clients when sub-ordinates need assistance.

Responding to customers and internal stakeholders effectively and timorously.

Verify and approve all outstanding correspondence in the department (e-mails; sms’s, letters)

Manage and resolve escalations immediately as and when received.

3. Reporting

Monthly Management Report.

New Connections Report for Book splits.

Incentive Report.

D/o and credit card rejections file (inclusive of home backs) Feedback Report.

SSS log report.

Updating and communicating out the Collections.

Daily Register.

Collections Forecast.

Book Review Feedback Report.

Daily dashboards for the Corporate & ISP Book.

4. Staff management

Daily and weekly meetings with Supervisor and controllers to address performance, productivity and challenges.

Implement and drive disciplinary processes as and when identified.

Identify training and coaching needs and ensure same are addressed internally or with the assistance from HR.

Identify and implement a recognition platform to high performing staff.
