Main Purpose: Accountable for the effective management of all Internal Contact Centre Collections (South Africa, Botswana and Namibia) to ensure that company achieves and exceeds its Bad Debt Write-Off targets. To provide strategic direction to the Internal Collections department, manage relationships and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
? Execute company Internal Collections strategies and tactical objectives
? Meet or exceed Internal Collections Targets through effective management of People, Processes, and Technology within operating budget
Research and develop innovative collection solutions

? Responsible for maintaining key strategic relationships with the Executives, Senior Managers, and Shareholders
? Ensure that resources are adequately trained, developed and supported
? To ensure the Collections Call Centre is delivering according to Strategic plans and goals, within the operating budget
? Ensure Call Centre productivity is optimised through hands-on management of the team and introduction of best practices
? Administrative process are implemented to enable smooth running of department
? Monitoring and performance management of daily production
? Strategic and best practice thought-leadership within the Collections Call Centre to enhance operational competencies
? Compile and produce relevant reporting and analysis in order to maximise results
? People are led and managed optimally and Performance Management applied consistently
? Coach and mentor staff in line with the company values

Minimum Requirements
? Degree in Commerce, Credit Management or Law
? Minimum 8 years Collections Management experience
? Experience in Lending & Retail Industry Collections preferred.
? Knowledge of Collections Industry
? Knowledge of Debt Collections Act, National Credit Act, Magistrates Court Act and other relevant legislation
? Knowledge of Triad, Vision + and Collect Smart, Dialer and NAEDO/AEDO
