We are searching for an experienced guest house manager to take on the management of an exclusive guest house (6 sleeper) in Knysna. This is an awesome opportunity to work for and grow in a very successful international hospitality company. The property is simply stunning, and needs someone who will make it their own within a short period of time.The position requires the following:- At least 3-4 years experience managing in a 4 or 5 star guest house / lodge / bed and breakfast / boutique hotel (all departments)- Formal hospitality qualification (preferably in management or F & B, but other departments would also suffice)- Speaking a European language (ideally German, even if not fluent) would be extremely beneficial.- Drivers licence and own vehicle- Knowledge of activities in and around Knysna.- Good admin skills (although reservations and marketing is not apart of this position)- Basic maintenance knowledge would also be hugely beneficial.- Ability to think out of the box to ensure guests have the most fabulous stay.- General all round CAN DO ATTITUDE!Please note that this is NOT a live in position. You must have your own accommodation in Knysna and be available to travel/pick up staff early in the morning. Petrol will be re-reimbursed / or purchased with company debit card.Package on offer is R12,000 per month LIVE OUT.
