Brief description

The position of a Manager: Lending Administrator consists of being responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective support service to our evaluation and business partners and other role players in the lending industry, thereby ensuring that risk is minimized whilst service levels are maintained at optimal levels and that the decisions are in line with the Company mandate. Manage the Business Unit to meet or exceed agreed output levels. Providing adequate risk training and guidance to staff of the Business Unit and other role players, and ensuring that the various transactions received is dealt with as per the service level agreement.

Manager: Lending Administrative Job Duties:

• Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
• Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
• Improves program and service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users.
• Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information pertaining to the lending administration department; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.
• Maintains continuity among lending division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Month-end checking on rotation basis, requiring the incumbent to remain a few hours later over month end
• Maintains administrative staff by training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
• Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and requirements

Business Related Degree preferably with an administration background.

Experience

• Approximately 4-6 years of previous Administration Management related experience plus a good understanding of business principles and administration skills.
• Sound knowledge of lending administration, systems and procedures.
