EXPERIENCE

The successful incumbent must possess at least 5 years’ experience relating to the management of a Restaurant/Restaurant in the Hospitality Sector and which is inclusive of budgets, management of stock, electronic systems, the human capital, health and safety, customers and the performance of the restaurant

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• The successful incumbent must have a minimum of a matric or an equivalent NQF qualification

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To do workforce planning and scheduling of work schedules;
• To take responsibility for the stock of the restaurant;
• To manage finances and to operate within budgetary frameworks;
• To manage and delegate tasks to the supervisory constituency;
• To operate the electronic systems which is utilised by the restaurant;
• To focus on the offering of quality service and products;
• To focus on customer service and satisfaction;
• To take responsibility for the Health and Hygiene of the restaurant.

INHERENT REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS APPLICABLE TO THIS POSITION

• Excellent computer skills (Micros)
• Very keen focus on detail and attention to accuracy;
• Good problem solving and conflict management skills;
• An investigative nature and a good knowledge regarding the operations of the restaurant;
• A strong commitment towards the best interests of the restaurant;
• A strong commitment towards customer relationships, consumer protection and service;
• A strong focus on honesty and integrity and business ethics;
• Ability to work independently, and in a reliable and dependable manner;
• Conversant in English and Afrikaans.
