My client is a well-known internal company, operating in the energy services industry.

The suitable candidate will be appointed on a ONE YEAR LDC CONTRACT BASIS, with a view to a possible permanent position.

The person they appoint will be responsible for the supervison of manufacturing staff and activities in the assembly, manufacturing and paint shop areas, to ensure that eash section operates in a productive and efficient manner.

Major areas of responsibility include:

Safety
Planning
Developing, training, supervising and monitoring staff
Organisation
Peporting

Major KPI's include:

Development and maintenance of work packs
Coordinating jobs with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
Quality Control
Devolopment of Systems and Procedures
Resolving any documentation errors
Ensuring SHE documents are being maintained and adhered to
Ensuring that machining, welding, fabrication and painting requirements are are delivered
Managing Contractual workers
Supervising Materials Planning
Implementing a preventivemaintenance programme on plant equipment, including compressors, blowers , water pumps etc.
Participates in Root Cause Analysis meetings.

Requirements:

Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacting.
Sudy towards a qualification in Project Management, or Mechanical or Civil Engineering would be preferable.
Preferably attened courses in Planning and Quality
A knowledge of MS Office, with emphasis on Word and Excel
Problem solving and communication skills
