Our client is based in Cape Town and is seeking a Marine Advisor - South Africa.
(This is a AA/EE role).

Required Qualifications:
• Marine experience and knowledge involving ship, barge and particularly terminal operations
• Process and knowledge requirements for this role : OE/HES experience, Process Safety Management, Reliability and maintenance and local legislative knowledge with regards marine operations
• Leadership & drive for results
• Analytical & Problem Solving ability
• Influencing and Negotiation skills

• Local legislative knowledge with regard to Marine Operations
• Oil, Petrochemicals experience strongly preferred
• Mariners Masters Class 1 licenses
• Ship Management Team experience
• 3 Year Tertiary Qualification e.g. Engineering
