Market and Pricing Analyst (EKE205)
R16000 – R20 000 per month

Duration: Project based contract, No view of permanent

Educational requirements:
Degree or Relevant experience in business, marketing and sales
Must have a valid passport

Additional requirements:
Market analyst, pricing analyst, market research, productivity analysis market trends
Excellent experience analysing marketing and business intelligence and proposing solutions to enable business growth
Excellent command of english, second or third language would be ideal
20 – 40% travel required through South Africa and into Sub Saharan Africa
Ability to interact face to face and over the phone with customers and business partners to better understand market and provide excellent customer service
Previous experience in a similar role essential
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Interpret sales and financial business data and complex statistical concepts to create clear and meaningful commentary on results and trends
Strong IT skills
Attend to detail and accuracy when manipulating large volumes of data
Negotiation and influencing skills

Duties and responsibilities:
Preparation and manipulation of key sales data and presentation of daily reports
Support monitoring, management and evaluation of PCDSCP (price correct dealer sales out) data, working closely with commercial leaders and finance team
Key contact for customer complaint handling, reporting and referring to key business stakeholders
Support dealers within areas of responsibility
Generating dealer reports monthly and presenting these reports in meetings
Support dealer rebate calculations and customer loyalty programs
Manage product queries raised by dealers, generating price lists and keeping current or product queries and refer to key business stakeholders
Ability to support sales process to dealer arrangements, resulting in both sales and profit targets being met and exceeded in sustainable manner
Provide updated guide prices to business partners monthly or quarterly
Provide support to franchise/interco promotional rebates
Provide switchboard relief when required
Ensure all equipment in show room is switched off daily before close
Manage team expense and petrol reports
Visit dealer stats for trends and visiting market in order to understand trends better – 25% co travel with company/dealer reps
Input and update support of CRM and business Analyst all relevant files to maximise business opportunities including country promotions on quarterly basis
Sales force liaison (FOC materials, literature request, sales promotions) distribution
Support monthly forecasting process
Assist and oversee the commercial leaders with promotional process by interacting with customers, business partners by collecting invoices and generating appropriate free of charge (FOC) to be sent
Analysing pricing of consumable/equipment in market to ensure pricing and promotions are current
Control literature and replacement of literature to ensure business continuity
Instrumental in launch phase of new products
Organising training, samples, literature as defined by template
Manage promotional process by interacting with customers, business partners by collecting invoices and generating the appropriate free of charge (FOC) items being sent to customers
