Collaborative Careers are currently recruiting for a Market Analyst to work on a month to month contract for their client based in Durban.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Providing economic research and analytical support with regard to the demand and sales performance in the domestic market to enable strategic decision making
Identifying significant trends that impact on future business in the form of changes to domestic market
Leverage industry knowledge and market research to make insightful recommendations to help drive marketing communication strategies
Maintain and improve a forecasting system in order to support continuous improvement initiatives

Min Qualification and skills required :
Bachelor of commerce or business science with majors in economics/ agric economics and statistics / Econometrics
A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
Strong experience in economic research ( specifically in agriculture) , preferably within a market research environment
Must have the ability to conduct research and present analysis of results
Must have strong excel experience , with the ability to work with advanced formulas, statistical modelling , graphs and pivot tables / charts
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Ability to undertake analyses and perform varied work assignments with limited guidance
Must be available immediately to start work as this is a month to month contract
