They currently have an opportunity for a Market Research Analyst to research market conditions to determine potential sales of the company products and services by assessing new markets, applications and products identified.

Job Description:

Establish research requirements for the business and ensure that ad hoc and ongoing marketing research requirements are met.
Plan and execute research projects identified by devising and evaluating methods and procedures for collecting data.
Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and interpreting findings into actionable recommendations.
Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature, online, ect.
Conduct competitor analysis and tracking
Prepare high level potential customer profiles
Collect and analyse data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
Measure and assess customer satisfaction
Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications campaigns and strategies.
Forecast and track marketing and sales trends by analysing collected data
Provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design and pricing of company products and services.

Qualification and Experience: Desired Skills and Experience:

An honors degree in marketing or marketing research. A masters in a related field is an added advantage (recognized institutions)
Good written, oral and presentation communication abilities
MS Office suite (with Advanced Excel)
Knowledge of Database management & Reporting systems
Analytical skills with attention and complex problem solving ability
A mathematical aptitude
Ability to show initiative and innovation
Interpersonal skills, approachable, adaptable, reliable and with integrity
