Marketing and Sales Assistant

R12000 – R16000 per month

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Marketing Management:
Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising and trade promotion programs.
Create and implement a Marketing Strategy for all branches in the group.
Co-ordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
Develop and organise all marketing material for the company e.g. leaflets, banners, flyers, promotional brochures, etc.
Identify marketing opportunities and identifying competitor’s strengths and weaknesses – marketing and competitor intelligence.
Promote the organization’s vision, mission and values during the course of marketing duties.
Create and manage online and printed marketing campaigns.
Maintain customers base.

Events Management:
Develop a marketing calendar including promotional events, show days and PR exercises.
Arrange and attend promotion and show days.

Website Management:
Maintain the company website.
Manage content of company website.
Load and maintain the product range on the website.
Create promotional graphics to be loaded on website.

Social Media Management:
Manage and develop appropriate forms of social media including (but not limited to) Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.
Drive all social media strategies for the brand.
Devise a social media policy guide for the brand.

Sales Function Randburg and Administration:
Attend to walk – in customers.
Assist with quotes and counter sales.
Administrative tasks.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Source and scout for new clients.
Research and report on external opportunities.
Assist with merchandising on store displays to ensure maximum sales.
Assist with stock takings.
