Rare opportunity for high achieving Marketing Graduate with strong Digital background to join a large JSE Listed Company in their Marketing Department based in their Midrand Head Office. This role requires a high degree of career career commitment, energy, flexibility and innovation.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing (minimum requirement)
• 2 years marketing experience preferable
• Press / print experience advantageous
• High proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
• Good knowledge of the media and retail landscapes

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Assist Group Marketing Executive when required
• Assist Group Broadcast Media Manager
o Assist with Public Relations
o Assist with capturing TV and Radio contracts
o Assist with checking TV contracts
o Assist with TV and Radio production
o Assist with Music on Hold messaging
• Assist with Press - buying, planning and implementation
o Assist with managing press and magazine media owner relationships
o Keep abreast with latest developments in the press and magazine media landscape
o Assist with planning and buying placements within budget provided
o Monitor press ads quality and delivery using tear sheets
o Assist in creating CIs for designers and media owners
o Budget & invoicing management of own portfolio
• Present post campaign analysis when required
• Overseeing the marketing budget
• Update department status document for weekly status meetings
• Proofreading and price checking of all press ads, point of sale and other design proofs
• Provide input in campaign brainstorms and overall marketing strategy
• Responsible for Copywriting when necessary (in English and Afrikaans)
• Liaising and meeting with Supplier Key Account Managers
• Evaluate new media opportunities presented and keep abreast of changing media landscape in South Africa
• Identify gaps with current marketing portfolio and introduce new projects/tools/opportunities/strategies
• Keep abreast of industry, market and technological trends and align these with the business and marketing objectives of the company
