• cultivation of individual set of analysis tools for analysis and reporting
• re-evaluation of the department, products and staff and align them to the Group’s vision
• Ensure that the department is profitable.
• New product development
• Analysis production process
• Accessing reputational factors
• Develop analysis methologies

Products - Analysis/Reporting/Measurement
Interrogation of current products and processes to identify areas of improvement.
To innovate current products to address market needs from different viewpoints naming:
• Government perspective
• Brand perspective
• Agency perspective

Across the following areas:
• Editorial
• Advertising
• Social media

Basic principles should be identified that apply to all these areas so a more complete 360’ view can be measured.

and the Barcelona Principles should be kept in mind as to keep measurement as cutting-edge as possible.
new innovations / principles should also be pursued as the company collects a myriad of different media data – relationships between this data needs to be explored and exploited.
Integrate “best data” from all levels (editorial; advertising & social media)
Identify software & internal development for analytical processes and client-facing reports – eg. Dashboard, Coding systems, Infographics etc.

Brand Intelligence
• Instigate Brand Intelligence as the company’s premium deliverable
• Analysing brands’ touch points with consumers in the media combining editorial/reputational, advertising and social media data.
• Promoting the BI product as the ultimate view on

Personnel
? Rebranding and restructuring the Analysis Department.
? assessing current skills sets based on new identified requirements, processes and methodologies

• assess what they are doing now
• determine what they are good at
• determine up-skill possibilities
• determine additional skill set requirements
• determine current productivity levels vs. expected

? Identify software requirements (both from a purchasable and developmental perspective) – incl. data coding, data relationships, visualization etc.
? Identify training / up-skilling opportunities, courses etc.

Clients - Assessing client requirements and supporting client services and sales executives.
• sales function from a analysis/reporting/measurement perspective – knowledge sharing by attending client meetings with sales executives as and when required
• using relationships with existing clients to build new relationships with clients which could lead to new business
• client presentations of final product like BI – high level products
• brief & client requirement scoping – consult with clients on best approaches
