Our client is an internationally recognized medical devices distributor who seeks to engage an experienced Marketing Manager for their Advanced Wound Care Management division.

An exciting new position has opened up in AWM for a Marketing Manager to ensure the profitable marketing of our Advanced Wound Care products and the attainment of short term agreed sales targets, as well as devising and implementing marketing strategies that will ensure the short, medium and long term profitability of the products within the portfolio for all channels/segments.


Minimum Entry Requirements

- Education
Matric
Clinical Education is a MUST
Tertiary Degree preferably in Marketing or Sciences

- Experience
Medical or Pharmaceutical company background,
Minimum of 8 years Marketing Management experience at a senior level.
Demonstrated people management experience

You, as the successful candidate, will be responsible for:

• To establish and nurture the relationship between Key Contacts and the Company, and to commercialise these relationships.
• To work closely with GBU and IRAMEA marketing teams
• Effectively manage a marketing budget to maximum efficiencies and attainment of short, medium and long-term profitability of the products within the portfolio for all channels/segments.
• To lead, guide and motivate the AWM Marketing team to ensure alignment with the business objectives.
• Develop and maintain efficient management information systems which will keep the sales team informed of customer turnover and growth levels, maintains records of regular customer contacts, and feeds back relevant market intelligence and competitive information to the Divisional Management Committees.
• To formulate strategic plans for the AWM Business Unit.
• To keep abreast of local and international developments and trends in the market place.
• To build good customer relations and to provide support to the sales force.
• To approve all customer pricing in line with required profitability as per the SOP’s.
