Matric plus a Marketing Degree or Diploma. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Marketing Manager in a Consumer Health environment. Experience in providing marketing support to export markets an advantage. Ability to lead a marketing team. Influence internal and external stakeholders in order to get the necessary buy-in and support for the marketing department. Computer literacy MS Office (with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint) essential. Own car and valid driver’s license essential. Required competencies: Develop and execute marketing strategy. Decisively deal with various market challenges in order to optimize market share and brand health. Implement successful strategies for dealing with products at different life cycles. Influence internal and external stakeholders in order to get the necessary buy-in and support for the marketing department. Meet budget and plan expectations. • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. • Ability to network and build important relationships with key clients and opinion leaders. • Ability to develop people and nurture talent. • Ability to bring innovative solutions to the business. • Results and customer orientation. • Strategic mindset with ability to plan for future scenarios. • Leadership ability to build empowered teams.
