Leading FMCG / Retail Organisation seeks a suitably qualified / experienced Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team.
Position reports into the General Manager: Marketing

Purpose of Role:
Formulating and overseeing execution of brand strategies across multiple channels
Ensuring brand strategies are aligned with holistic business objectives – driving business strategy
Embracing an ever-changing retail environment as capabilities keep evolving
Cross-departmental management of campaigns, promotions and initiatives by galvanising efforts and understanding how the various business functions contribute towards driving common goals
Driving customer loyalty through customer-centric promotions and offers, driving increased sales and profitability
Campaign and promotional analysis and measurement against KPI’s
Providing leadership and inspiring a team of brand managers and brand teams
Management of key agency partners (advertising and media)

Qualifications
Essential:
B.Com (Marketing) or similar qualification essential
Experience Required:
• Leadership role
• People Management, with direct reports
• Presenting at Board/Senior Executive level
• A minimum of 8 years relevant FMCG experience (in similar role preferred)
• Understanding and experience of SA or Global FMCG channel and market landscape
• Project Management
• Client account Management
• Cross-functional team management
• Excellent leadership, collaboration and relationship building
