Marketing Manager Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal Negotiable Salary' Permanent Hospitality Industry

Our client is looking for a Marketing Manager  inPinetown, KwaZulu-Natal.

 

A large Hotel and Hospitality Group is looking for a Marketing Manager to oversee the marketing strategy across the various businesses in the group as well as manage a dynamic marketing department. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, an excellent communicator and have solid marketing experience across all disciplines of marketing.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

STRATEGIC MARKETING DIRECTION ACROSS ALL BRANDS IN THE GROUP:

  • 3 Corporate brands:

    • 10 Timeshare membership clubs,

    • Hotel and Resort Group  - over 60 resorts & hotels

    • 15 Sales offices

  • Integration of all marketing initiatives and communications across platforms

  • Budgets, KPI’s, Brand Plans, Project management, Analytics, Reporting, Presentations

  • Driving above and below the line advertising campaigns, tactical campaigns, activations, sales support, direct marketing etc

  • General Project management

 

DIGITAL MARKETING:

  • Management of Digital Marketing team

  • eCommerce – how to optimize site, display product and run promotions.

  • E-mail Marketing- communication strategy, creation, distribution, delivery and reporting

  • Social Media – Content strategy, reporting, reputation management, advertising

    • Facebook, twitter, google+, pintrest, tripadvisor, instagram, blogs etc

  • Working with team and external agencies on optimising strategy, SEO, SEM, AdWords, PPC etc

  • Websites – Oversee the creation of new websites (basic, ecommerce and member portals) considering user experience, architecture, content strategy, google analytics, reporting

  • Briefing and working with web developers, tech team, and third party suppliers

 

BRAND MANAGEMENT:

  • Management of Brand team

  • Generating Brand plans, communications plans, reporting, competitor and consumer research

  • Digital strategy: website, social media

  • Resort support and marketing requirements

  • Events and Exhibitions

  • Briefing agency (in-house and external) for all marketing collateral, campaigns etc

  • Control of all brand budgets

  • KPI and reporting

 

IN-HOUSE DESIGN AGENCY:

  • Management of graphic designers and copy writers

  • Review briefs, sit in client briefing sessions, aid in scope and direction of project/job

  • Art direction, CI review and final artwork approval              

 

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Experience in a Marketing Management capacity – managing people and multiple brands

  • Degree in Marketing

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong Leadership skills

  • Customer Centric approach at all times

  • Attention to detail and highly organized

  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office

  • Digital Savvy

  • High levels of ownership and sense of urgency – strong driver

  • Hospitality/Tourism experience advantageous

  • Proof of having creative vision and executing on it.
