My Client, a provider of temporary power generation services, is looking for a suitably qualified Marketing Manager, who is available and willing to travel extensively to Africa (8 countries).

Purpose of the Job:-

Creation, coordination and implementation of effective marketing plans for Africa ensuring integration of our marketing and sales activities and generating leads and enquiries that can be translated into new business

Ensuring full activation and maximising the benefits of any sponsorship contracts secured through the Major Events business 

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities:-

  • Creation and implementation of the annual marketing plan for Africa.
  • Close liaison with the regional sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment between marketing plans and sales activity.
  • Creation and delivery of marketing campaigns to generate sales leads and enquiries.
  • Development, updating and optimisation of AI Websites to generate leads and enquires for new business.
  • Coordination of Africa local marketing plans to ensure on time delivery and effective use of Africa marketing budget.
  • Encourage and support the use of sales & marketing tools across the AI region.
  • Identify the need for new sales support tools and facilitate their creation through close liaison with central marketing communications and sales development teams.
  • Ensure appropriate use of Company branding across Africa locations.
  • Activation of sponsorship contracts signed through the Major Events business.
  • Any other duties considered essential for effective operations and services.

Person Specification/Job Requirements:-

  • Diploma in Marketing, ideally Member of CIM.
  • 7 years’ experience in B2B marketing.
