Afrimat Aggregates (KZN) (Pty) Ltd is seeking the services of a competent hard working individual to fill the vacancy of a Marketing Manager servicing Pietermaritzburg, Scottburgh and surrounding areas.

The person will be responsible for :
• Developing cost-effective marketing plans.
• Actively prospecting for new business including aggregates, ready-mix, bricks or blocks.
• Achievement of budgets, margins and targets.
• Collaborating with Corporate Office on communication, branding, PR, and general marketing initiatives.
• Tracking all marketing and sales data and creating detailed written reports
• Managing production planning in conjunction with Area Manager and Quarry Managers.
• Determining opportunities and ensure long term success in the South KZN region by analysing business needs in existing and new markets segments.
• Evaluating market potential and identify local strategies, channel access, price and distribution policy as well as market penetration in line with market conditions.
• Formulating regional sales budget in line with overall objectives and product initiatives.
• Monitoring and reporting on market activities and provide relevant reports as well as information.
