Marketing Product Field Officer (Open to all)

Area: Boksburg

Package: Basic of R30 000 plus benefits.

Purpose of the position:
As a Field Officer you acquire field information on usage conditions and on the performance of products and associated services in order to control risks and improve the products and serive offer. Provide technical support to sales teams, clients and purchasing advisors in order to maximise the value of our offer and control risks.

MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

? Identify basic risks and make appropriate recommendations
? Detect normal, abnormal and extreme usages in operating and maintenance conditions in order to supply information, develop this and the client occupation classification and bring to light any usage fluctuations
? Identify the performances of Group products and competitors’ products in order to rate their strengths and weaknesses and recommend best practices for usage and services
? Recommend suitable equipment, understand interactions, make a diagnosis on usage and prepare the arrival of new users on the market.
? Promote product performances to the Sales Reps in an educational manner; implement demonstrations to clients and state improvement requirements. Explain recorded basic performances and under achievements
? Identify the proofs of main damages in order to recommend first level solutions. Request advice from consultants with the potential use of explicit photographs
? Train Sales Reps in codes and in technical knowledge on product and services
? Summarize and inform on market conditions and short-term developments and on the expectations of our users, distributors and competitors
? Raise alarms with a treatment adapted to different risk situations and provide information on usage risks
? Defend the product and promote the company’s orientations in a client environment
? Using recorded or to be recorded facts, prepare incident reports in compliance with legal requirements. Measure if usage is in compliance with local legislation and regulations.

PREREQUISITES
• Tertiary education diploma
• Technical or Business Degree

Specific training or accreditations:
• Sales Training
• Excel advanced

Previous professional experience:
• Sales Representative
• Mechanical maintenance experience

Candidate must be ready to attend Field Officer training after the appointment to be completed overseas.
Candidate must be able to travel intensively within Africa.
Candidate must be prepare to work outside of the normal working hours, including occasionally on week end
