Candidate with minimum 10 years’ Mining Equipment Sales, general management and contracts management experience, required to manage the sales of mining equipment into the Sub Saharan Africa market.

Minimum requirements:
• Minimum 10 years’ mining equipment sales experience essential
• 2 years’ General Management experience required
• Contracts Management, Administration and Marketing experience required – minimum 2 years
• Must be willing to travel

Responsibilities:
• Manage and review Equipment and Accessories Sales figures, compared with budget in monthly, quarterly and yearly basis ito of sales turnover, adjusted sales margin ratio and expense
• Marketing and Sales on a regional basis
• Ensure and enforce global mining strategies
• Review Mining and Construction market share/market intelligence
• Develop and maintain current customer base
• Margin targets for sales
• Manage technical support for sales
• After sales policies and procedures
• Develop suppliers list, establish policy and procedures and enforce SLA’s
• Manage, contribute, coordinate and develop new sales and after sales support
• Cooperate with SSA, CCSA, FMC contracts – review and establish P&L potential
• Provide Application Engineering Support, review and site assessment support for life cycle support purposes in respect of existing and new contracts and agreements and to support sales channel
• Develop owning and operating cost references for construction and mining equipment to support sales and marketing on a regional basis
• Review and contribute to Tender and Bid proposals and submissions – review commercial and legal impact
• Develop pricing strategy and assist in coordinating distribution and access
• Set-up and follow up of commercial initiatives and action plans with Account Managers
• Market penetration, growth and sales and commercial profitability
• Product development, performance reporting
• Dealer appointment
• Manage dealer policy and procedures
• Coordinate dealer appointment process and evaluation
• Define and review dealer capabilities and determine product line suitable for market
• Develop and enforce monthly and quarterly review, P&L and deader performance KPI’s
• Ensure dealer governance and agreement management
• Manage dealer relationships and growth
• Dealer support ito customer development and market penetration
• Enforce utilization of approved suppliers – develop and support dealers in accessing centralized suppliers
• Ensure aftersales support is in place and assist in developing capabilities and capacity
• Define dealer appointment in respect of mining and construction equipment, models and accessories
• Support contract renewal, new submission, where there is variation on commercial terms for both fixed Cost and Variable Cost
• Assist and manage implementation for contract review, planning, P&L, contract health, etc and support maintenance management system implementation
• Responsible for customer portfolio in collaboration with Sales Department
• Business development
• Strategy and Customer Support – implementation for regional strategy, relationship building and maintenance, customer site visits
• Equipment and Accessories – ensure access to approved sources for manufacturing Excavator Bucket, Rigid Dump Truck bodies/bowls and Wheel Loader bucket and application specific accessories
• Develop and provide support and approval for accessories to be fitted to products
• Responsible for assembly and commissioning of new equipment
• Ensure payment terms and risk control are in the line with group policy
• Manage and review sales turnover and margin in region
• Gross Margin, P&L, turnover managing and review
• Monthly reporting on sales activity, aftersales, dealer reports, business strategy performance
• Report to President and Directors on Department performance
