Job Purpose Statement:
To develop, execute and evaluate a range of marketing programmes that support local countries’ marketing objectives and when necessary adapt corporate/Pan-Europe programmes to local market needs.
Job Size:
The incumbent will be required to produce for each programme, complete revenue and expense forecast, which will be used as the key measurement criteria. They will be expected to brief multiple agencies and thereafter be responsible for the delivery of programmes on time, within corporate guidelines, whilst ensuring the highest quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop, implement and evaluate a range of approved marketing programmes that support the local marketing segmentation plans.
Brief programmes to agencies and thereafter ensure such programmes are delivered on-time within corporate guidelines and within agreed budget.
Ensure all local workgroups are fully involved in the development and execution of programmes and where their input/follow up is required ensure “Buy-in” to the process.
Maintain an accurate advertising and promotions budget control system showing at all times up-to-date spend and commitments versus budget.
Provide a full range of marketing services to internal workgroups and be the main day-to-day contact for queries or support issues.
Adapt corporate/Pan Europe programmes, ensuring accurate copy translation; achievement of desired ‘tone of voice’ and acceptable creative execution where change may be required due to cultural differences.
Gather information from local workgroups (primarily Sales, Customer Services, Tele-service & logistics) regarding competitor activity, pricing info, customer needs etc. and thereafter assist in providing recommendations for management.
Present marketing study findings (customer satisfaction, image & awareness, product development, focus groups) to local workgroups indicating where necessary, where their further input/action or involvement is required.
Assist in providing research on a varied range of marketing issues, to help local management decision making process, e.g. local competitiveness cut-off times/transit times/specialised services.
Minimum requirement:
Min 3-5 years’ experience in the following;
Digital development
Understand what is required in terms of Website design
Brand auditing
CI
Project / campaign management
Must be able to create campaigns that will generate revenue
Must be able to create campaigns that will encourage brand awareness
Must be able to execute projects with minimal intervention
Marketing degree required, MBA not a pre-requisite
3-5 years’ experience in a marketing role is critical with projects proving that the outlined accountabilities have been achieved.
PC literate with excellent skills on PowerPoint and Excel a pre-requisite
