Job Description:

Manages and develops work processes that integrate customer delivery requirements into manufacturing plans.
Execute the preparation of long-term supply plans.
Responsible for meeting customer service goals, optimizing inventory, capacity utilization, production efficiencies and minimizing SLOB
Provides proactive, clear, concise & accurate information to the internal/external stakeholders regarding issues, potential delays & mitigation plans to ensure that customer expectations are met whilst simultaneously assisting that plant conversion costs are favorably impacted through optimization of production runs & sequences.
Develops and implements production planning policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
Maintains compliance to company policies with regards to safety and approves production scheduling.
Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, material and resource requirements.
Provides a closed loop connection between constraint plan, manufacturing capacity/build plans, and the total revenue plan
Manage planning activities derived from products phase-in phase-out to mitigate SLOB
Develops a master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates required by forecasts or customer orders.
Performs planning and related data analysis needed for cross-functional projects
Effectively partner with all internal and external business partners.
Responsible for delivering the RCCP/ S&OP processes in the plant
Supervises scheduling activities and planners.
Makes recommendations for alternative scheduling scenarios to assist with BCP decision making.
Participate in project meetings as required to ensure successful launches.
Approved all master data changes to BPCS –data admin / BOM changes.
Manages re -assay report (3-month outlook) and execute plans to mitigate SLOB (ie write-offs) and demurrage costs where applicable
Ensure that all regional reporting (eg MPS/PA/LE/RCCP) is submitted as per deadlines

Qualifications:

Tertiary Education Diploma in Supply Chain Management. APICS or Supply Chain Certification would be advantageous –preferably with courses including Production Planning, Purchasing or Supply Chain management.
Experience: 5 years supervisory experience in Pharmaceutical /FMCG manufacturing environment.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate successful leadership, planning management expertise, strategic thinking and operational experience with ERP systems
Demonstrate initiative and lateral thinking to solve problems and drive decision-making.
Demonstrate strong cross-functional (E2E) business acumen and ability to influence.
Strong analytical, quantitative, Root Cause Analysis, time management & organizational skills.
Strong decision-making and excellent communication skills
Multi-tasking, prioritization, and a sense of urgency
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
Requires a high level of accuracy and excellent communication skills.
Efficiency under pressure and willing to work outside normal hours if required.
GMP experience/knowledge preferable
