Our client is looking for a Master Sinker to be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, or budgeting, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems. The incumbent would also participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation.

Job Description

Working with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
Developing and implementing quality control programs.
Studying job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
Preparing and submitting budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
Managing project issues, budgets and schedules.
Managing project execution including: Performing/facilitating detailed risk assessment, development and execution of risk mitigation strategies and management.
Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Establishing and maintaining tendering process and conduct negotiations.
Providing input into the drafting of tender notices and/or formulation of contracts in respect of procuring and appointing vendors/service providers for the delivery of specific services (building and facilities maintenance, office equipment support etc.)
Establishing and maintain effective working relationships with clients, government officials, and media representatives and use these relationships to develop new business opportunities.
Developing client relationships and communicate with clients to explain proposals, implement research findings, establish specifications or discuss project status.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Academic Qualifications
BSc Mining Engineering or BTech Mining will be advantageous
Mine Overseers Certificate
Blasting ticket - Hard Rock

Experience
10 years related sinking experience
