MATERIAL CONTROLLER – EAST LONDON

Minimum requirements:
• NQF 4 qualification
• Computer skills – BAAN
• Work shifts and overtime if and when required

Duties:
• Ensuing the timeous and accurate issuing of stock to the production line
• Maintaining the FIFO system (Engineering level changes) on products received and products issued
• Accurate and effective stock control
• Daily liaise with buyers regarding stock levels and requirements
• Daily cycle counts on all components in the stores (Rebate as per schedule)
• Ensuring that all parts received from suppliers including internal suppliers are of the correct standard counted and properly packed (identification, FIFO and quantity) by the team
• Ensuring that the BAAN system is live by continuous updates of issues via scanning equipment
• Participation in stock takes
• Ensuring housekeeping by all team members at all times in order for improved work environment
• Compliance with environmental regulations ISO 14001 and Health & Safety Regulations ISO 18000
• Daily participation and input on MDW with means of meeting QSCM targets and by continuous improvements by implementing innovations
