PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for the successful execution of order placement and material expediting for on-time delivery.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Receive, process and administrate requisitions – expedite deliverables
• Develop good relationships with suppliers, gain knowledge of products, sources, prices, design of technical commodities and services
• Assessment of new supplier’s capabilities regarding manufacturing by evaluating them with regard to machines, equipment.
• Achieve maximum integration with other departments within the company
• Identify, investigate, select and develop competent suppliers

POST REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Procurement / Logistics / Supply Chain
• Valid driver’s license
• Procurement/Technical qualification/experience will be an advantage
• Read and understand technical drawings will be an advantage
• Experience in working with an ERP
• Computer Literate (MS Office and Excel, Powerpoint)
• Good written, verbal and presentation skills
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Broad Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good planning and organisational skills – time management
• Proven ability to take responsibility and high level of integrity
• Knowledge of processes, administration, procedures, quality, production, products, maintenance and safety requirements.
