My client based on the Eastrand is seeking to employ a Materials Manager who will be responsible for total materials management, planning and inventory.

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma in materials/inventory/logistics management or similar
5 years’ planning/inventory/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
2 years’ management experience

Duties Include:

Monthly/weekly reports for Mato are distributed in time, reasons for performance not achieved are reported on
and monthly dashboards are summarised for quarterly reports
Purchasing database is maintained at all times
Expediting and de-expediting of purchase orders for goods held in inventory is managed
Stock levels for inventory held in stores is managed, maintained and optimised
Departmental forecast/budgets are met
