One of the largest FMCG companies in South Africa is looking for a Materials Planner to join their team. The aim of the position is to manage the procurement of all packaging and raw materials as per the Production Plan.


Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• BCOM Logistics/Supply Chain Management
• 3 years’ experience within the FMCG environment
• 3 years’ Production Planning experience
• Experience with SAP, ORACLE
• Project Management experience

Job Description

• Materials Resource Planning
• Provide continuous information regarding levels of materials
• Procurement of the materials
• Take part in supplier reviews
• Maintenance of the Oracle System
• Communicate with various Planners to ensure stock availability
• Involvement in projects involving write-offs
• Participate in supplier evaluation
• Compile reports
• Manage customer relationships
• Manage KPI’s and propose plans to improve them
