PBT Group has an urgent requirement for a MDM BI Solution Architect. The
incumbent will be responsible for translating requirements into viable,
compliant and coherent solutions designs involving both technical specifications
and oversight of deliveries that meet the information needs of the client.
This primarily involves gathering and documenting both MDM and BI focused
requirements from all levels of the organizational hierarchy and translating
those requirements into fully functioning and coherent systems.

This
individual will work with business representatives and business analysts to
understand needs and lead the collaboration to generate the best solution to
solve the identified business needs. This individual is expected to recommend
and oversee the implementation of appropriate systems for data management and
integration solutions.

All levels of the organization depend heavily on the
information made available through the BI & MDM Systems designed. The systems
support business processes by supplying vital data and as such they must support
high availability such that the systems support the mission of providing the
right data to the right people at the right time

DUTIES:
- Partners with the
business-led Master Data and BI Organization to implement a long-range roadmap
of data management solutions, including data quality initiatives
- Has overall
ownership for technical solutions management of multi-subject area enterprise
MDM and BI solution set
- Owns and shapes solution designs and frameworks
required to support BI, MDM and data governance
- Partners with various IT
teams to syndicate master data from the MDM solution across the application
landscape with consistency, integrity and reliability
- Partners with various
IT teams to make BI datasets available across the business and application
landscape with consistency, integrity and reliability
- Oversees resources,
work products and deliverables from internal and external parties on/off shore
throughout the delivery of Master Data and BI Solutions and their operation

Provides guidance to project team to ensure adherence to standards and processes
- Lead design reviews & oversee code reviews to ensure that all solutions are
aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications and quality guidelines

Understand and comply with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology in
a validated environment.
- Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design,
development and testing and incorporate corporate architectural standards into
application design specifications
- Review and provide feedback to the final
user documentation
- Establish, enhance and communicate technical guidelines
and best practices for the application and integration development team
- Keep
current with industry technologies and tools in both MDM and BI domains and
determines applicability of emerging technologies/trends to our environment

- 3+ years direct experience in MDM design, development, support and operations
with a leading MDM tool suite
- 5+ years direct experience in Data, Database
and ETL development, support and operations using Microsoft SQL Server with
emphasis on Data quality and Data transformations, Transport, Security

Experience with enterprise level data analysis and integration work and/or
providing data focuses systems integration solutions

technical knowledge on data architecture and data integration
- Exposure to and
conceptual understanding of data integration tools and technologies

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science or related field or equivalent experience.
