This multi-discipline consultancy needs a professional engineer to lead their high level mechanical projects with a short path to running a business unit. Your role will be to mentor juniors and lead mechanical building services projects. You will be responsible for the review of designs and project management of HVAC; piping; plumbing and fire detection. Liaise with the subcontractors and contractors on site; lead site meetings; compiling of tender documentation and control cost and/or budgets.

Qualification:

BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering

Professionally Registered with ECSA

Skills required:

8 years of design experience within building services sector

Ability to communicate at all levels and sign off designs

Design of HVAC within hotels and office blocks

Liaise with the subcontractors and contractors on site; lead site meetings; compiling of tender documentation and control cost and/or budgets

Proven track record of projects completed

Project management

Supervising Junior Engineers and Draughtsman

5-10 years’ experience
