Top Control Valve Manufacturing firm seeks Mechanical Design Engineer - Pressure Applications. To design the mechanicals for Control Valves.

* Pr Eng or PR Tech Eng Mechanical
* Expert on Pressure Vessel Design Codes - ASME VIII and European Codes
* Solid understanding of Metallurgy and Materials
* Expert on Fluid Dynamics

* 6-10 years High Heat / High Pressure Mechancial Engineering
* 6 years Working with ASME VIII codes and European Equivalents
* 6 years Working with Fluids and/or Steam Applications

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Control Valve Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Design Analysis
* CAD Designs
* Design for Manufacture and Bill of Materials
* Product Testing
* Product Maintenance and Design Improvements

* Ensure Designs Comply to PER Regulations
* Produce Cost Effective Designs
* Design Easy to Manufacture Products

Background work experience:

* 6-10 years High Heat / High Pressure Mechancial Engineering
* 6 years Working with ASME VIII codes and European Equivalents
* 6 years Working with Fluids and/or Steam Applications
* 6 years Design for Manufacture
* BSC/BENG/BTech in Mechanical Engineering
* Pr Eng or PR Tech Eng Mechanical
* CAD Design of high heat, high pressure applications. Includes Materials Selection, Welding processes and QC
* Designed according to ASME codes and/or European equivalents. Has signed off designs.
* Understands fluid dynamics and heated fluids travel through, pipes, vessels etc...
* Understands how to manufacture a design, bills of materials, assembly instructions etc...
* Advantageous: Designing Control Valves

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R 800K to R 1.6 Mil per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
