A leading supplier of wear components to the mining and other industries needs a Mechanical Design Engineer to be responsible for product design and development.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Product design and development to customer specification and desired properties
• Prototype development and testing
• Internal communication and motivation
• Product performance optimisation
• Working closely with manufacturing, quality control and sales.
• Control, manage and motivate drawing office staff
• Compliance with ISO 9001:2008 quality management systems

Skill Set
• Mechanical Engineering qualification
• Min 8 years’ experience in a production orientated environment
• Product design and development experience
• Able to manage and motivate staff
