One of the biggest consulting firms in SA is currently looking for a Mechanical Draughtsperson to join their experienced team in Cape Town.

Suitable candidates will be responsible for mechanical building services (HVAC and wet services) drawings from sketches, plans or other information using computer aided drawing equipment, specifically AutoCAD and/or Revit. Minimum qualifications include a Matric Certificate, a recognised draughting qualification, an AutoCAD Certificate, knowledge of Revit, as well as a minimum of 2 years proven experience in design drawings of mechanical building services. Key Performance Areas include: the production of high quality plans for tender, construction and record purposes to meet Client specifications; the production of high quality drawings and work for Power Point presentations, forms etc.; to occasionally accompany a Technician/Engineer to site in order to record information to quickly facilitate the production of relevant plans and drawings; drawing control and management; adherence to QMS system; client satisfaction.
