Technical Requirements of Position:

-National Diploma or B Degree: Mechanical/Electricial Engineering

-5 Years experience in open cast mining environment

-Previous supervisory experience is required

-Must be Computer Literate

-Must have a drivers license

-Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination as required from the designated mine

-Excellent verbal and written communication in Afrikaans and English


Job Description:

-Knowledge of Crushing (cone and jaw crushers), Screening, Jigging and TMM equipment (Excavator, Telehandler, Loaders, dump trucks) / machinery

-Knowledge of guards, pumps, motors, conveyor belts, idlers and scrappers.

-Ability to work accurately under pressure and to meet strict deadlines as determined by Management

-Must have excellent problem solving skills and must be able to work on your own

-Must have strong attention to detail and apply quality management

-Consist of strong supervisory skills

-Sound SHEQ systems knowledge
