• 2 YEARS EXP IN POWER PLANTS
• 2 YEARS EXP WORKING WITH VALVESM ACTUATORS AND PUMPS

We currently have a vacany withing our Engineering department, for a Commissioning Engineer.
The position is based at our Kusile Site.
The Commissioning Engineer responsible for the commissioning and performance testing of Individual systems of the Kusile Fly ash handling and conditioning plant.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Cold and hot commissioning of the Kusile Dust handling plant under the leadership of the lead commissioning engineer and commissioning manager

Major areas of responsibility include:
Cold commissioning of systems and subsystems
Hot commissioning of subsystems
Performance testing and optimisation

Main Deliverables/KPI:
To Commission systems and subsystems in a timely manner as determined by the lead commissioning engineer
Develop technical documents such as (but not limited to) Design/ Functional Philosophies, Commissioning Procedures, Operating and Maintenance Manuals, Temporary Operating Instruction, and Training Manuals in conjunction with the CLIENT design team in accordance with client and CLIENT standards
To successfully complete all allocated and agreed development activities
Continuous communication and liaison with internal clients (internal departments)
To continuously resolve commissioning queries and complaints
To provide the lead commissioning engineer with information regarding daily activites for reporting purposes
Commission systems and subsystems according to the correct procedures and sign off these with the client during commissioning

Populate commissioning data books with all relevant check sheets and sign offs done during commissioning
