• KNOWLEDGE OF SAWMILL EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE SYSTEMS

The Mill Engineer reports directly to the Sawmill Manager and is responsible for the efficient planning and management of maintenance to ensure optimal plant availability for the profitable running of the sawmill.
Key Performance Areas:
• Planned maintenance on electrical, instrumentation and mechanical equipment
• Management of the preventative maintenance program
• Infrastructure management
• Working closely with production staff to maximize machine availability and production
