My client in Cape Town is seeking a Mechanical Fitter.

DESCRIPTION
Fitting of engine parts and steering

Primary Assembly - Engine
Final Assembly - Steering

MEIBC GRADE & RATE PER HOUR
Grade D @ R 50.65: Semi skilled and/or 3 years experience
Grade D+ @ R 56.90: Semi skilled and/or more than three years experience
(Required to provide a copy of previous employers Contract of Employment and all payslips)
Grade AA @ R 62.01: Semi skilled and/or 8 years experience
(Required to provide a copy of previous employers Contract of Employment and all payslips)
Grade A @ R 65.11: Qualified Trade Certificate / National Certificate NQF Level 4

TASKS PERFORMED
Prepare engines, genset and fuel lines
Install engines, genset, fuel lines and exhaust systems
Install steering system
Install air ducting and boxes
Replace damaged or faulty parts

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS
Able to work with hands
Able to follow written instructions
Able to read drawings
Work to a high level of accuracy
Good communication skills
Enjoy practical work
Numeracy / literacy skills (basic)
Able to work as part of a team
Safety Compliant (wears PPE etc.)
