• EXP IN STAINLESS STEEL ( CARBON & LOW ALLOY STEEL) ESSENTIAL
• 7 SOLID YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCEIN METALLURGICAL / MECHANICAL TESTING EXPOSURE TO LAB MANAGEMENT AND ISO 17025
• TINSEL TESTING ( IMPACT & HARDNESS)
• TESTING GRAIN SIZE TESTING
• EXPERIENCE IN FAILURE ANALYSIS
• COMP LITERATE ( MS PACKAGES)

Coordinate activities that require specialist input and through knowledge and experience design, develop and implement systems and methods in order to meet current and future customer demands.
Provide guidance on technical issues such as sample preparation, testing and releasing as well as safety and environmental issues.
Focus will be on Quality management-interpreting international standards and ensuring that QC systems are adhered to, equipment is correctly calibrated, methods are validated, proficiency testing done and trends monitored.
Close liaising with internal and external parties to ensure customer expectations are met.
Develop training material and regularly assess team competence
Ensure compliance with SHE policies and practices.
Minimise costs by monitoring equipment and ensure regular maintanance is performed.
Knowledge of SHE and quality procedures
Knowledge of stainless steel, carbon and low alloy steel, stainless steel processing, corrosion, welding, fabrication and forming
Knowledge of operating optical microscopes, image analysis software and scanning electronic microscopes
Pro-active, self-driven and stress tolerant
Strong statistical analysis skills
Excellent attention to detail when dealing with high volumes of data and figures
