Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven Mechanical Maintenance Manager to be appointed in Nigel, Gauteng.

Purpose
The purpose of this role is to oversee plant and equipment maintenance of grain handling equipment in our grain storage facilities.

• Management of Employees (Maintenance Artisans) Negotiate with private contractors
• Cost control (maintenance)
• Control quality and Inspections
• Asset Management
• Stock Management
• OHS ACT
• Audits on Risk control management

Minimum Requirements
• Matric
• Qualified Fitter or Millwright
• Minimum 7 years related experience
• Previous experience within Grain handling facility will be an advantage
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects (electrical, mechanical & civil)
• Management experience of maintenance teams/ department
• Mechanical equipment’s maintenance
• Strategic thinking
• Logistical management
• Safety cautious
• Prepared to travel across border and in SA
