Large automotive manufacturer is seeking a suitably qualified Process Engineer to join the production team to carry out evaluations and assessments to improve existing production/machining processes
Key responsibilities:
• Monitor and control tooling budget
• Complete and issue technical specifications for new tooling and facilities
• Interpret/Compile distribution of technical data
• Maintain process documentation
• Conduct area pre-audits
• Analyse bottleneck processes
• Liaise with tooling suppliers
• Identify method changes
Key requirements:
? ND/B-Tech/B.Eng/Bsc Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
? Toolmaker Trade test an advantage
? Minimum 3 years’ experience in production/machining process environment
? In-depth knowledge of metal working process (machining and tooling)
? Quality knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Fishbone, ISO
? Computer literacy in MS Office
? Excellent verbal and written communication
