Mechanical Specialist

Responsible for aspects of Quality Management on an offshore gas production site.
• Refine and manage a system (A COMPONENT INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CIMS)) on a Gas Production site with particular attention to Flange Management.
• Co-ordinating with the client / end user to manage and ensure the long term integrity of all bolted joints.
• Co-ordinate, oversee and manage any remedial action and repairs necessary.

Skill Set
A Mechanical Site Superintendent and Project Coordinator of Mechanical Engineering disciplines.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the Petro-chemical or related Industry with associated qualifications.
Experience in:
• Site Managing multi-disciplinary project teams
• Mechanical fitting
• E&I Design
• Plant shutdowns and Turn Key Projects.

The candidate must be willing and able to work outside of South Africa on a leave rotation basis to be determined.
Periodic return flights to SA included.
