Fetola currently seek a Media Coordinator to join our innovative and dynamic working environment. Job purpose:

The purpose of this Media Coordinator position is the successful external promotion of Fetola and Fetola’s programmes, under instruction from the Senior Media Officer. This involves the creation articles, creation and distributing content / reports, managing and reporting on social media profiles and providing portfolio support where required.

Experience and Training:

• Relevant Degree - Media, Communications or related
• Proven skills in research, writing and editing
• Interest in the field of business, development and /or economics
• Strong interest in Digital Media
• Excellent spoken and written English and good inter-personal skills.
• Excellent computer literacy, with advanced MS Office skills
• Innovative thinking and strong leadership advantageous
• Meticulous, ethical and deadline driven
• High achievers with history of excellent performance

Software competencies

• WordPress and social media skills and presence
• Experience with social media management tools e.g. Hootsuite, Mailchimp (Advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

• Media Support-Provide the Media Team with efficient and effective support
• Research where necessary
• Writing articles/content/reports
• Daily Social Media posts
• Website content updates – word press
• Media analytics and reporting
• Sourcing of graphic content including images
• Portfolio Management
• Work with your support team to successfully roll out the portfolio
