Position: Media Decor Sales Executive
Industry: United States based company
Salary: Basic salary R14000 – R25000 p/m – Lucrative commission to be earned above this
With commission earnings can be: $40 000-$120 000 per annum depending on performance
Area: Offering expert service to international affluent customers and closing product deals
Type of employment: Permanent position with 3 months probationary period
The position is available immediately and it is quite urgent due to current client base to be serviced

Candidates who have the below skills will be considered and will receive 10-14 days training in the way the business is conducted and projects are completed
Main role: Act as Sales liaison manager with clients to obtain sales and to get project completed via designers

Job requirements and performance areas

• Important to consider: Working hours in South Africa will be from Monday to Friday from 15h00-23h00 to coordinate with USA day working hours.
• Non-negotiable: Must have uncapped Wi-Fi, fast, reliable Internet connection and Skype facilities – Please do not apply if you do not have this
• Non-negotiable: Computer literacy (Strong MS Office: Word, Outlook and Excel
• Must be technological highly savvy – Experience with Skype for business
• Microsoft Lync will be highly beneficial
• Additional hours may be required depending on the client project
• Dealing mostly with inbound sales and following it up to close deals
• Candidate must have solid sales experience and be able to deal with various clients projects simultaneously
• Be able to deal with upmarket and diverse clients that have specific design requirements
• Strong personality, ability to “get things done ASAP”… needs to be able to deliver results on difficult tasks with no excuses
• Solid experience in sales/ closing clients over the phone/ Skype
• Passion for interior design and good taste in decor
• Ability to communicate at a high level with very high end clients
• Must have a proven track record of meeting sales goals
• Must be able to close sales deals
• Be a highly responsible self-starter with the ability to return 30+ phone calls per day, on a daily basis
• Willingness to work the hours required to accommodate your clients - which may include evening or weekend hours
• Must demonstrate the ability to connect and liaise professionally with clients
• Must be able to take the project from design to close quickly & efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Ability to draft elegant proposals
• Must be highly organised, manage an efficient diary and be able to take accurate notes from clients
